Yes I saw the fight live and I don't remember anything about a man from Cotto's team not being at the wrapping of Margarito's hands. If no one from Cotto's team was there then rules were broken and Cotto's team should have made him re-wrap his hands in front of them. Also someone from the boxing commission was supposed to witness the wrapping of Margarito's hands so he would have to load his gloves right in front of them. Does that sound logical, detective? So unless we have the unlikely case of both the Commission and Cotto's team being totally incompetent he did not cheat Cotto. Also after he won the fight Margarito took off his gloves and ran around the ring shaking hands and hugging people and stuck around for an interview with his wraps on. Does that sound like the actions of a man who had bricks in his wraps, detective? As far as the Mosley fight I don't know that he tried to use plaster. All that was established was that one of his wraps was used and contained one of the ingredients found in plaster. If he tried to cheat he was caught just as he probably would have been caught if tried to cheat in any previous fights. If the use of plaster was as easy to get away with as you think why is this the only case of someone being accused of using it since Jack Dempsey fought Jess Willard in 1919.If you know of another plaster case please enlighten me. So no, I don't believe Margarito ever used plaster. You don't have to agree with me but you don't have to insult me either.
Margarito should rematch most of the top guys he KO'd

it was Naazim Richardson who found the wraps not the commission lolYes I saw the fight live and I don't remember anything about a man from Cotto's team not being at the wrapping of Margarito's hands. I have to think Margarito will be retained as an option to fight Chavez Jr. at any time....
we might as well wrap our heads around that fight as early as possible so we don't get upset later.Comment

but to use plaster for the first time after 47 times doesn't make sense...it never will
Exhibit A. Mosley fight...

True but a few thing I noticed post mosley he definitely had power, hurting pac do the body showed that, and Cotto rematch he landed a lot less flush shots on Cotto but Cotto's face looked like it was on its way to looking like it did in the first fight. May be he did use plaster before may be he didn't weirder things have happened in this worldComment

NO, he's taken several bad beatings lately. Are you perverted or just ******. The guy is at a stage now where he could suffer permanent and progressive brain damage until he becomes a vegetable. Why would you wish that on anyone except Hitler.
Maybe you don't know that a majority of fighters get some sort of brain impairment, and it doesn'r show until later in life. Most of those wonderful guys you babble on about are either dead from dementia or can't even tie their shoelaces any more.
If you can read, you should read up about it, then you mightn't make such sickening remarks in future.
He should retire.Comment

Then Richardson was doing his job and Cotto's team did not do theirs.Did you see the fight? if you did, you'll remember
that for some reason there wasn't someone from Cottos
team there...another thing
you telling me that after 47 professional fights
And after beating Cotto, like you assume fairly
he decided to use plaster on Mosley??
good job Detective...Comment

No. The guy shouldn't be allowed to box again.
I didn't think he should have been allowed back in the sport after being caught with the plaster (separate issue) but those beatings he took at the hands of Shane and particularly Pac (the damage he did to that eye) he shouldn't fight again.
Look at how quickly and easily it started to close again during the Cotto II fight. That's all his future opponents would do. Target that eye en route to a TKO win.
His health (regardless of how much of a scumbag he is) is too important and no commission should allow him to fight again & Garcia should have a word with him.
Sadly I think he'll be in the ring again. Against who, I have no idea.Comment
