I think Ortiz is a really good fighter, because he lost against Floyd isn't a knock on him, nobody has recorded a win against Floyd so it was expected.

I think the problem with Ortiz was he seemed like his heart wasn't in it, like we didn't know how he would react when faced with adversity. He got up, won a tough fight and I earned more respect for the kid to be honest.
Dude don't get me wrong I like Ortiz, even after he quit to Maidana but back than he was more humble, now he is trying so hard to probe that he has heart; sometimes is not necessary to try and adjust to what others think....you do your thing inside the ring that's all.

I can see why people get disturbed by Ortiz manners, but I kinda like it.
I hope he takes Berto serious enough, then it might really be even clearer (and maybe shorter) than last time...

I can agree it wasn't really close, Ortiz fought a perfect gameplan for most of the fight.

BUT Berto was about ONE punch from putting Victor away in that 6th round and credit to the ref for not overreacting there. It was more than moment, the fight could have been over with a different referee...or if Vic hadn't been in top shape to recover from knockdowns, or if Berto had landed one or two more big shots in that sequence.

Ortiz has to find a way to find that same level of determination and hunger to win this fight again...even tho he has all the boxing advantages
