Lol at Myaweather landing 26 punches in rd 4. Lets see them, point them out in rd 4.

Ortiz threw roughly 50 punches rd 4. Count for yourself.

See how ****ing skewed your logic is using compubox.

And one other group I dislike. None of you are even fans. I can't wait til both Pac and May retire so we can see who sticks around to talk boxing.

Ortiz didnt land ****. Go watch his flurries, he gets mayweather up on the ropes right in front of him and doesnt land **** except the head butt. Earlier in the round when he had mayweather on the opposite side of the ring, on the left side of the screen, mayweather even slips an earlier head butt attempt. Thats how **** ortiz is, mayweather was slipping his combos and his headbutts.

LOL the same group of about 20 guys have an interestingly positive take on ANY and ALL things Mayweather. And they don't let a thread go by without making sure you know about it.

I bet there's not one thread on this whole site without at least 5-7 of them "correcting" anything slightly not said in the most positive light.

same guys over and over without missing a beat.

Floydpunched himself out. Ortiz would have come on strong at the end. Floyd could have proved us wrong but he didnt let us see the fights natural outcome.
ONly floyd to blame there. THe refs there to protect Floyd but he wanted retribution his way. Theyve been protectin boxers for 100s of years and Floyd rewrote the script foreverl

Mayweather circle jerks are bad, but happen nowhere near as often as the Pacquiao circle jerks. Just look at the Pac **** articles on here. Manny could ask his gardeners to mow his lawn a different way and there would be an article on here "8 Divison World Champion Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao holds summit with highly esteemed landscape architects and engineers to discuss reshaping part of Philippines for the better."

Now those circle jerks happen on a daily basis 'round these parts.

Yeah ortiz would have had superior stamina in the late rounds compared to floyd who is known for poor conditioning, getting tired and loosing late rounds..... oh wait youre a dumb ass.

That ass whipping would have been the stuff legend's are made of.

                  I agree with this.

Mayweather was clearly outclassing him and the reason Ortiz started the BS is because he knew he had no chance and was looking to create chaos and or find a way out. In fact, imo, Berto hit Ortiz with harder shots than even the one Floyd decked him with when he wasn't looking....and Ortiz got up from those, but he wanted no more of Floyd after he realized how fast FLoyd was and how hard he was to hit.

I agree. Floyd was robbed of a Ricky Hatton type KO 4 or 5 rds down the line had Ortiz not quit like a ***** when he did. I felt robbed because we wait all year for a Mayweather fight and then to watch Ortiz just lay down after 4 rds was disgusting.

Ok so a 12 round championship fight barely 1/4th the way in, where nobody was knocked down, hurt tired or clearly dominating cant be called close in boxing?

                      No.

Because it wasn't close nor competitive for those 4 rounds.
