I've never seen a guy get out landed by like 50 punches through 4 rounds and get hit with everything in the kitchen sink, and have people say the fight was close.
The only round you can even argue that MAY have been a Ortiz round was the 2nd. He had one good moment in the 2nd, and 2 good moments in the 4th, THAT'S IT.
The first, neither did much but Floyd's right hands that landed clean and solid won that round. The 2nd, Floyd had a few moments in the round and out landed him still, but it was a fairly close round with Ortiz having his moments here and there. The 3rd wasn't even close, it was all Floyd. The 4th, 2:30 of that round Floyd was whupping Ortiz and Ortiz had a couple moments, still got outlanded big time.
Let's be honest Mayweather was dominating the whole fight. The only reason Ortiz head butted Mayweather was because he couldn't land any solid punches. I just watched the fight again. I noticed Ortiz led with his head towards mayweather's face a couple of times when they were close together. Mayweather is just a class above Ortiz. My favorite part of the fight is when Ortiz throws a straight left and Mayweather punches Ortiz' punch to the side. I was like damn....
Funny I remember Floyd saying that was the 2nd time Ortiz headbutted him that night in his press conference afterwards..I thought he was exagerrating that s-hit....til I rewatched it to..and saw he was right. The idiots who think Vic got jobbed need to realize hes mentally unstable..and gave up by rd 3...and was happy to get his biggest payday ever.
