i keep telling ppl that. they dont believe it for some reason. donaire wasnt interested in the moreno fight either, both sides had the same type of managerial issues going on partly because of gbp.

That fight was NEVER going to happen last May. period. Anyone who looks at a bunch of fluff quotes from back then (many contradictory) is missing the facts. Fact: Donaire was in litigation for a huge chunk of 2011 and May 2011 was right in the heart of it.

Oh, and memo to Yuri Gamboa, TR won. They usually do on these things.

He could have atleast shown interest.

He outright turned down the fight whether it would have come off or not.

And Moreno is my 3rd favourite fighter currently.

Not really. He expressed interest and then said he needed a couple more when it was clear the fight couldn't happen (and he might not be able to do it anyways). Both were going through all sorts of management issues. The Donaire-Arum thing was coming out by March. There was hardly time for a real offer to get made. Maybe face saving to deflect on something that couldn't happen then anyways?

That whole thing was just a bunch of hot air. No one had a chance to turn down anything serious.

Im excited about the Mijares-Donaire fight in July. Mijares is a beast at 122 he has a lot more energy and suprisingly more power too. All 6 of his fights above 118 have ended in ko's for him.

Moreno will continue to be avoid, nobody will be looking to fight Moreno anytime soon, he style is too difficult for those OVERRATED FIGHTERS TO DEAL WITH

he is a CLASSIC THROWBACK BOXER (NO HE DOESN'T CLINCH EITHER!)
