who do you guys think cotto will fight next?

I wonder if that Branco fight will still go through.I dont want it,but it would be a decent warm up if they try to make a Hatton fight after that.

Well I do think that Cotto would win the fight, but a Cotto-Freitas matchup is not as big as mismatch as you say. Freitas is a very good fighter, with great power, and I think that if he were able to connect on Cotto's chin, it would be interesting to see how Cotto holds up.

freitas?? he is talking about wanting a rematch w/ corrales - i HIGHLY doubt that cotto would make that fight. besides, his team clearly said that they will not be fighting anymore this year, slated for a return in feb i think they mentioned. holt is not in the running for consideration i estimate - my estimations come directly from me

i HOPE in early '06 that he takes on a top 5 guy. castillo would be a good tune up too.

Freitas had some power pre-Casamayor but he has never been a puncher since the 6th round of that fight and beyond-sure he got Barrios but he had to take a ton of shots to do it and fighting Cotto who could be a Jr. Middle someday?

To say that he could budge Miguel Cotto who really doesnt even belong in the Jr. Welterweight class is a big no no...

Freitas would be severly beaten up very similiar to which Victoriano Sosa was beaten up-hell Feitas is much smaller then Sosa as well..

freitas is a slick boxer, not a big puncher/trader like cotto
frietas would stick and move his way to a ud and maybe then cotto would realize he cant slug his way up the ranks
