Rios is a match made in heaven for Marquez.

Don't know why JMM is avoiding the come-forward Bum Bum.

I don't like Rios as a fighter (and won't judge him as human being), but I could see him stopping Marquez. Marquez is in terrific shape for his age and he can still put up a "fight of the year" performance. He's a legend.

However, you can't stop the hands of time and fact is that Marquez swells, cuts and bruises a lot easier these days.

If I know Marquez well, he will not try to outbox Rios like Abril or Acosta did. He will most likely brawl with him. Marquez will probably also hurt Rios but I think Rios will be able to hurt Marquez a lot more. Marquez gets hit a lot when he opens up.

I'm not saying that Marquez is Antillon but you saw what happened to Antillon. Antillon wasn't really even able to hurt Rios when they exchanged and it was just a matter of time before Rios would catch him with a power shot he didn't see.

No matter what, this fight will be brutal.

              I agree totally.

Marquez and Abril are different fights... Marquez is a much greater fighter, but I'm certain Rios will land more shots against JMM than he did against Abril. Katsidis managed to land punches against Marquez, even dropping him, and I think Rios is at least as good as Kats, probably better.

Although, Rios should have to earn the fight though. The Abril fight does not entitle him to a shot at one of the sports top names...

Rios is a big mouth prick. Just like all the fighters from Oxnard. Garcia needs to shut up and stop making false predicaments. Rios cant fight and that's the bottom line. Kid has no dam discipline. He failed to make weight twice already.

I hope they don't fight. I don't like to watch two Mexicans fight because I will be sad for the loser.

Chavez Sr was the same way. When he lost, he *****ed and moaned about the ref and any other little excuse. Garcia must have watched Randall V Chavez and learned from the best.
Wash your mouth before you mention Chavez. Mexicans are all heart. Pendejo.

Rios is a pure brawler that up to the Abril fight had been able to chop down opponents with constant pressure. Fighters have been lured into trading with Rios because he's so damn easy to hit. Abril found a way to neutralize him and Rios showed his inability to adapt or adjust his game plan. Jmm would neutralize him with a steady diet of counter punches. After taking that "L" Bam Bam doesn't deserve a shot at a HOF'er like Jmm.
