How can anyone here respect Abril for the way he fought?

I know everyone is going to compare that style to Molina's and B-Hop's ...etc

but that was the most pathetic display of boxing I have ever seen from a fighter. Atleast when Molina was holding he would then throw nice strong combinations, same as Ward.

This guy Abril was running holding, and throwing the lightest punches I have ever seen. Sure he made it tough for Rios to hit him cleanly but I thought Rios' work rate and backing him up is what gave him the edge in the fight.

Abril lost this fight himself but trying to hold non stop then throw a few punches and run. that is not boxing people and I am glad he lost because would you be happy if every boxer started to fight that way?

Bam bam is a one dementional fighter. They couldn't break Abril's defense. Complaining about the holding but what about his rabbit punches, holding, and intentional low blows out of frustration. He does not deserve a shoot with Marquez or any other big money fights. People just want to see him get KTFO! It's more exciting to see if his gonna make weight! This is why he ducked El Titere.

The thing that blows me away are the before and after pictures of Rios "making" weight. He normally has a little fat around his eyes, it gives him that evil kid squint. He was hollow eyed at the weighin, he looked sick, he was over trained by his look. He doesn't need to move up, he has. He's lucky Abril likes to hug so much, a real shootout might have cost him.
