Get your facts straight. It was 7 years, not "over ten years". And that is a BAD example because Oscar was drained for that fight. Roy Jones, Chris Byrd, Oscar, and Ray Leonard all lost bad when they dropped weight.

I didn't see the fight but the vitriol being spewed about it is overwhelming.
Was it a worse robbery than Williams v Lara?

I believe it was a pretty big robbery. People are complaining that Abril fought awkwardly, but those same people can't possibly be fans of Boxing. It wasn't the most action packed fight, but Rios got outboxed and Abril showed to have excellent defense ( he wasn't holding all that much, spent more time in a shell right in front of Rios and Rios couldn't land ANYTHING). I had maybe 2-3 rounds for Rios

Was Rios ever asked how many rounds he felt he won?

rofl @ saying Marquez would allow himself to get schooled in the pocket like him.

Rios is delusional man, Ortiz would KO him in 5. Marquez stops him in 9.

There was a lot of holding going on but rios should of switch his style up a bit adjust!!!!!! Overall i wouldnt call it a robbery a DRAW at best Abril didnt clearly beat him and vice verse.

Why is Boxingscene giving this guys team a chance to try to twist the story? Rios lost the fight. And unless we make a bigger stink about it it's just going to continue. Abril was'nt holding at all really so this is balogna made up by Arum. Team Rios is just going to go with it.

Rios said it was not his responsibility to let this fight not good; Did this mean he would not change his style in the future?

I mean, that decision was awful, and even though Abril was holding, he wasn't nearly as bad as Molina as against Kirkland. And Kirkland was actually winning 3 of those 10 rounds and on the verge of stopping Molina in the 10th. I gave Rios 2 rounds, and I can't see anyone giving him any more then that.
yeah right. Kirkland winning 3 rounds...lol may be the one knok down the rest molina beat kirkland with ease.
