Abril's holding didn't seem THAT excessive until the round where the ref warned him. After that, it mostly stopped and the holding got replaced by the shoulder roll when Rios got close.Last edited by DoktorSleepless; 04-15-2012, 01:30 AM.Comment

I respect your opinion because I remember for the Molina-Kirkland fight you were also against what Molina did and were very vocal about it. So you're not just some nationalistic fan, you believe in what you say and stay consistent. That's hard to see in this forum. Everybody has an agenda.Comment

if thats the way abril always fights i dont care if i ever see him again!" people dont buy pay per views to watch boxing", they pay to watch a fight". abril was boring, and held way too much. for all that trash talking between the two, abril fought an olympic style fight, while rios was trying to make an entertaining warlike fight. even though rios lost in my opinion, i dont think abril did anything to get people excited about him.Comment

Didn't catch the fight, but not surprised Rios struggled big time. Why?
1. He's a fat bastard with no discipline who comes into fights looking like jerky.
2. HE IS PAINFULLY OVERRATED!!!!!!!
And the reason he won:
3. He can't lose because Bob needs to match him against Manny down the line.Comment

Yeah, definitely a robbery in my eyes. I like Rios, but have always felt a good boxer will beat him. That's ok, though. Most brawler type fighters lose to good boxers anyway. Rios will always be great and entertaining against guys that will **** with him, but I don't see a top P4P spot for him in the future.Comment
