What Was The #1 Reason Why Rios (Lost) Tonight?

Im too tired to make a poll but what do you think it was more of? Weight issues/drained, finally didnt have a huge size advantage to make him look better then what he really is, style matchup, new nutritionist/diet, overlooking the opponent, unmotivated after Gamboa fallout, or just overrated?

Style matchup without a doubt.

Rios definitely tried imposing his will, he tried to hit anything he could hit. Abril just boxed beautifully, uses his legs, great defense on the inside and good use of the jab... Abrils defense really made 90% of Rios' shots ineffective, and at long range he was a sitting duck.

Wrong style... and he just walked into everything. He was on the end of Abril's jab no matter what he did.

but the point is that sometimes change isnt good. I didnt mean he did a bad job as far as losing weight or anything. I meant moreso maybe the new stuff didnt agree with Rios. Maybe the new diet actually made him weaker or whatever

What won Abril the fight was the shoulder roll thing he did when Rios got close, which was just as effective as holding, but legal.
