Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: Questions Linger, Division's Hype or Hope?

Tyson Fury has enjoyed yet another understated, controversy free fight week as he heads into his grudge match with Belfast’s Martin Rogan at the city’s Odyssey Arena later tonight. Only joking, as per usual the colorful 23-year-old has made a number of bold claims in recent days and topped the build up with the strongest statement he has ever made by weighing in somewhat svelte ahead the shamrock showdown.

One part of me would love for Rogan to pull off a big upset. But then I think, no, better for Fury to continue to win and let one of the K bros go to town on his ugly mug.

Its just cos his name tyson fury that makes hype. I saw some of his fights and dont see how hes any more special than other heavy weight prospects with undefeated records. He obviously would get smashed by any klitschko.

I think it's more because he's a 6ft9 Englishman (who funnily enough is a wannabe Irishman) with some pop in his fists than his name. The UK media love to fire up the hype machine

did you mean "more pop in his name than his fists" ? Fury isn't a puncher. Oh and of course he's a hypejob.

Oh, he's a puncher alright. We just don't see it very often because he can't box his way out of a paper bag

He's 6-9 which means he can actually have a fair fight with one of the Klitschkos. That would be a first.

I have a mate who's about that height but I don't think it would be fair to throw him in a ring with a Klitschko
