Your poll makes it impossible to just say no if he fights Canello he is not ducking Martinez. My vote would be if he fights Canello next he is NOT ducking Martinez.Canello is the best, most logical, most exciting, best paying fight for Floyd.

PAC fought at 150 once and after that fight he said its to much for him. Is PAC fighting at 150 for his upcoming fight? I can understand where u're coming from if PAC is still going around fighting at 150 but this is not the case here so just because he fought at 150 once doesn't mean he has to do it again. Floyd on the other hand is fighting cotto at 154 and Floyd has fought at 154 before so this tells me that 154 is not a problem for him but the choice of opponent may be.

I don't get all the whining, I think a fight against Canelo isn't bad at all. I like that fight way better than Pacquiao against Clottey/Mosley/Margarito.

I meant financial reward. Man how long have you been following this sport? You have no idea how the boxing business works.

            Crazy logic!
It is crazy logic, especially since it's coming from you.

Canelo isnt ready yet for mayweather and i dont expect to see that fight next, but with martinez fighting in september i dont know how him and mayweather can get it on for november/december.

Ward or Dirrell will be available for September... Couldn't Martinez, who walks around at '75 fight one of them?

Martinez doesn't care about legacy. He wants the big money fight against the little guys.

Couldn't agree more, if it's pathetic for Mayweather to make business moves (even though he's fought legit opposition that the media even asked for), then it's pathetic of Martinez.

Martinez has a date with Chavez for september..Not dirrell or Ward.
