      Good take.

W/o his size/weight advantage, Rio is in "shock" (not that he doesn't know) at WW or JWW.

I don't judge or even try to. I have south american friends and they are a little "different" so yea. They have their ways which I guess they think it's "normal." But hey, if he's gay makes it even more great. A gay dude knocking out all these guys, maybe Chavez too 1 day .

Well I just don't think too highly of Brook or Jones. Brook hasn't done anything and Jones has been an "up and coming prospect" for the past 5 years. Zaveck I didn't even much thought into.

eventually he's going to be a WW. bring on ortiz. been saying it for a while now.

at 140 he will look like a new man. he'll still be bigger than a lot of these guys

lucas mathysse for instance is smaller than rios.
marquez at 140 or anywhere else is smaller than rios
          garcia is smaller than rios

rios is huge. you get the best idea of a fighters size when he is not starving himself and working out and sweating profusely all day without replenishing all of the water he loses. in between fights rios looks like he should fight at WW. at 140 he will be fine

he's just a weight cutter. he's been willing to cut more weight than other guys so he fights very light. now his body wont allow it, and he'll move up
Sure I can agree with all that, I guess time will tell.

Naw its cool with me if he is. I just figure a guy like that should be smashing every ten coming his way.

Rios is easy to hit coming in and Ortiz is a good puncher with both hands and he has good combinations. I think Ortiz KOs him.

rios would still have problems at 140, the problem isnt the weight, its his dedication... what we have is another chavez and im pretty sure he's scard to go to 147 where everyone would tell him to face ortiz and ortiz would knock him the *** out.....

for all the trash talking this guy does and to not make weight is embarrassing...

Brandon Rios vs Mike Alvarado would be a good match up at 140, both undefeated (if they win their next fight of course)
