The guy is a welterweight but is scared to death of Victor Ortiz.

He boasted so much about doing it right this time, and that he got all serious to make 135..only to ultimately come in at 139lbs and still look weight drained. The guy is a WW trying to use his fight night size to his advantage at 135. Let's see him fight 150+ pound Berto, or 165-pound Ortiz.

He's not ev the biggest guy in that division, Guerrero is, by far, sO shut up. You clowns seem to forget he and Alvarado were in the same breath by arum at 140 until Gamboa started making noise. That's why he stayed at 135. The got scrapped and Abril is in his place now.

Ortiz would do a number on Rios, he'd slaughter him and humble him the F down!

I agree, I don't think he would have much success at welterweight so he is going to slowly move to LW and then slowly move to WW when they all have moved up. I think Ortiz, Berto, Alexander beat him. He probably can beat Brook and Jones but that's it.

3 lbs is not a huge difference. Second time he came to re-weigh himself he was 139 and looked the exact same. He'll be able to make 140 but he's gonna be drained too. Tell him to grow a pair and move up to 147 where he really belongs.

Obviously, I would **** the hell out of her. But isn't she supposed to be a journalist or something? I've never seen a journalist try to console somebody interviewing. WTF was that?

No, he might have a chance vs Zaveck but not those 2 you mentioned. Zaveck is probably the only one I give him a chance against out of the top 10 WW.

notice how healthy he looked until the week of the fight?

                    thats those last few lbs

at 140 he wont have to lose them

eventually he's going to be a WW. bring on ortiz. been saying it for a while now.

at 140 he will look like a new man. he'll still be bigger than a lot of these guys

lucas mathysse for instance is smaller than rios.
marquez at 140 or anywhere else is smaller than rios
                    garcia is smaller than rios

rios is huge. you get the best idea of a fighters size when he is not starving himself and working out and sweating profusely all day without replenishing all of the water he loses. in between fights rios looks like he should fight at WW. at 140 he will be fine

he's just a weight cutter. he's been willing to cut more weight than other guys so he fights very light. now his body wont allow it, and he'll move up
