Considering JCC's size advantage and the contrast between his and Sturm's styles and what JCC is billed as being (relentless, powerful pressure fighter etc) i think there is some validity to what is being said. Chavez had no amateur career. Felix Sturm was an Olympian and has been in something like 17 world title fights as a pro.

Frankly it would be embarrassing if Sturm didn't perform better than Jr.

Yeah, a two divisions champ is "casapendejo", I would love to see Chavez Jr in the ring with prime Lince, I really would like it. Castillejo beat Karmazin and Sturm, what is more than jr never did.

If it was anyone else's jab I would scoff too, but to be fair, Sturm has one of the best jabs (if not the best) from any division.

I hear you but you can't have it both ways. His people bought him a MW title so being compared to Titlists and the rest of the best in the division is fair.

Everyone knows Sturm is a good fighter and boxer. He gave de la Hoya a hell of a fight.
