McBride was 6'6 280 pounds! Tarver is a 37 year old light heavyweight who has never tasted heavyweight power in his life. By the way I think Tyson always has a slight chance, the guy can punch.

      Anyone?

Didn't know it was that hard to find someone who would favor the Iron Mike Tyson to dismiss a light heavy

until this fight is officially signed, press conference, etc. i don't really have a serious desire to follow this story because there are too many other exciting rivalries going on (hopkins/taylor, morales/pac, lacy/calzaghe) for me to concentrate on at the moment, hope this develops tho.

Toney is doing just fine at heavy and Toney is older than Tarver and has more fights.

PS: Jones did pretty well at heavy. No reason Tarver wont do just as well.

Are you suggesting Taver is as good as Roy? I mean he did beat him but that has to do with styles not overall attributes...

has anybody seen tysons last few fights?

tarver is the best fighter he will have faced since lennox.

does anybody truly believe that both mcbride and williams are more challenging than tarver at heavy?

tarver isnt that small, he is 6'2 and will be at around 210-215 pounds for the fight. he is a lefty, good speed and skills, and has good pop. at this point in his career id say tysons chances at beating tarver are very slim.

I disagree but I see your points. And its also clear you really believe Mike will lose. Your not just saying that to be like everyone else...

He beat him 2 out of three times? Yes, he is better than RJJ in 2005.
