I wish Tyson would quit, despite me wishing he had one last great fight. His career doesn't need to be diminished any further.

As crazy as this sounds, I would rather see him lose to a quality light heavy like Tarver than a journeyman/bum heavyweight like McBride.

Man, Tyson needs to hang it up. But it would be sweet if he beat Tarver's ass but that aint happening.

well, okay.. i was about to type something along the lines of "If Tarver wins here, he'll earn my respect." but then i realized he'd be going up against an opponent that might just be shot, so there's really not much credit to be earned say he wins, if anything, this fight for Tarver can either keep my feelings for him at a low-standard that it's at now or worse if he gets beat. As for Tyson, who knows? He's surprised us before hasn't he? And i agree with the good comment by 23Truth34 saying that it'd be nice if 'worst case scenario' he stays with Tarver, looks decent, maybe takes a decision loss or something like that, and goes out gracefully and not sitting down. (I do like the sound of that.)

now here's the Million Dollar Question (assuming it happens):

            Will you buy it?

              hmm

If this fight happens, I admit, I'd be the first to buy it (if I got the money). There is no way in hell I'll miss a chance to see that smartass get KO'd. Tyson may be old, but if an old Reggie Johnson can put Tarver down, an old Mike Tyson can put him OUT.

Tarver is not big like McBride or Williams, doesn't have great speed, and has slow feet. Conclusion: Tyson can beat Tarver.

^^^^Crazy people without a grip on reality still think Tyson has "some left in the tank."

He can, I agree. Tarver isn't big enough...

at least this fight is basically an ultimadum (wow, spelling check?):

either Tyson KO or Tarver Decision
