Sergio should be pushing doubly hard for this Mayweather fight after Chavez and Cotto respectively now that the Pac fight is known to be impossible to make. This should be easy since Sergio is willing to accept Floyd's demands.

    Looking forward to this fight.

Very likely a fight with Mayweather is not gonna happen in the middleweight division. Therefore, if Martinez were to lose, he would retain his middleweight title and a fight with Jr remains very much in play.

Not really sure but since Chavez is a much bigger draw than Williams I would assume his check would be around or larger than that amount. It doesn't really matter though because there isnt that demanded fight for Martinez now like the Williams rematch. Who at 160 would pay more than Chavez?

It's pretty possible that it could. I have a feeling Mayweather is trying to go for records since Pac got all these titles in all these divisions. Something tells me he (Mayweather) is trying to compete with Pac.

Yeah but Sergio would give in to a lot more demands than Pac... probably any demand.

Well I can see Chavez' side trying to shaft Martinez with all the "you're not that big of a draw bs." Plus knowing he's not pushing for tests they could very try anything knowing he's trying to get the fight badly. DiBella would probably not fall for it tho.

of course he prefers chavez first because he's the easier of the two,if he were to face mayweather he would get a big payday but probably lose, therefore only one big fight=big payday, this way he gets a big payday with jr and his chances of winning are much greater and then another big payday with floyd, fighting chavez first gives him a chance of having two fights with big pays because if he were to lose to floyd first he can forget about fighting jr

U may be right but I dont see Chavez fighting Martinez coming off a loss. I think the reason he is agreeing now is because of public pressure and the WBC not being able to push this issue with Martinez off anymore. If Martinez loses I dont think the demand would be there and if the demand isnt there why would Chavez take that chance against a guy who is more risk than reward?
