Ortiz would get his azz beat by Jones,so no Berto did not fight a better opponent..What opportunities to fight Berto??Jones would have been(and tbh honest still is)a better opponent then Ortiz, because overall he is a better more rounded fighter...

So he struggled against an old, bloated Henry Brussels, but he beats Ortiz's ass. I just hope he doesn't get highlight reeled by an old Bailey, so peep's can see how good he isn't.

Can I ask you who has Ortiz and Berto beat??Please enlighten me,Berto got his belt from beating Ricky Martin..Oh and his rematch against Ortiz will be the first time he has ever fought a top 5 WW..LMAO,and who has Ortiz beat??His best win is Berto, lol andI just broke down his resume...

Just stop man. Collazo was more or less a top 5 welter in early 2009. Steve Forbes or Juan Urango >>>> Henry Brussels. Ricky Martin >>>> Henry Brussels at 147. Vivian Harris >>>> Henry Brussels. And not only that, he didn't even look impressive vs Brussels.

he's overrated as hell, despite having fought some good names
nobody was impressed with him beating Maidana at WW
go ahead and fight Brook, not much else at WW
don't even know much about Brook, but sure he'd beat the twat
what other big names can the twat be looking for?
WW is pretty weak right now
what's Mike Jones doing? out of touch on him
Everybody in WW is pretty much taken right now. Unless they wanna fight 2-4 months after the fight they have scheduled. Mike Jones is fighting on the Pacquia-Bradley card. Besides Kell Brook another "solid" opponent that's open for that date would be Soto Karass or Paredes, if he beats Soto Karass. Also Zaveck if he wants to come to the states again. Best bets for "solid" opposition would be Brook or Zaveck. Zaveck already fought Berto in the states so he would probably be easier to lure on this side.

Uhhh what? So why if Ortiz whooped his ass would he vacate his belt just to fight Ortiz AGAIN? He must still smell poosy huh? Give some credit to Berto here, little people in boxing have the courage to vacate a belt just for a rematch vs a guy who KD'ed them twice. I didn't see Ortiz wanting to rematch Maidana or Peterson EVEN .

Alexander vs Zaveck would be great... but I think they're waiting for the Senchenko vs Paulie winner. Easier opponent, with a belt and more media notoriety (If Paulie wins).

Not one fighter named a top 5 WW and how long has Berto had his belt??Please stop it..The fact you are trying to pass Ortiz(I don't deserve to get beat up)as some animal in a cage is funny...I don't like Berto but I don't need to lie on him..His resume speaks for it self,a bunch of LWW Collazo might be his best fighter on his resume..Oh and guess what he lost that fight in public opinion...

If Senchenko wins you think he would be willing to fight in the states?

Where else is Berto going to go??Losing to Ortiz was a major blow to his career, not looking to rematch Ortiz and acting like Ortiz is not even in the same div would be even worse to his career..I also agree with you btw about Ortiz not rematching those fighters,it's a big reason why I don't rock with Ortiz like that...But funny enough I did pick him to beat Berto...
