seriously its best to ignore these guys. ppl dont like ward so they'll continue to try to discredit him. like he didnt just amass the best wins in the last 2 yrs or so. its really sad.
Don't worry, they said they'll give him his credit where it's due when he beats Froch.
I like Kessler and was rooting for him when he fought Ward but it was obvious who the better fighter was that night. I dont see any real examples of where Ward had fixed refs or hometown judging. In reality he has shown himself to be the best at 168 and that just doesn't sit well with some fans for whatever reason.
ny123, whenever a fighter, seems to always fight in his hometown, and never gets points taken away, or at the very least warned, for obvious clinches, headbutts, etc., thats the part, that probably doesn't sit well, with boxing fans, who are not big fans of andre ward, my man...

Honestly I dont believe Ward needs a hometown ref to accomplish what he has. I dont think he fights dirty intentionally and I dont see any of his past opponents having a different result of their fight with Ward no matter where it took place.
Maybe I'm missing something in the chain of event bro, but wasn't Ward tied into the super y and than broke his hand against Froch? I just don't see the timeline where he could have rehabbed the hand and made this fight.
If Ward had just said he needed to rehab his hand so Bute would have to wait, then it'd look a lot better. But all this crap about Bute not being a worthy opponent and having to prove himself etc etc. just made it seem that Ward was not keen to fight the guy. Like I said, he made himself sound bad. Then theres the whole calling out Kessler for a rematch...wtf?
Yeah, wasn't he supposed to lose that fight? He barely broke a sweat.
Was he? Could've sworn he was a heavy favourite. Either way, no one is discrediting his Super Six win but in boxing, its about the next guy. Bute is arguably a more difficult fight, stylistically, than anyone he fought in the tournament.
