Comments Thread For: Cotto: Our Training For Mayweather is Bearing Fruit

WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto (37-2, 30KOs) of Puerto Rico is well aware that in order to beat a boxer on the level of a Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs), he will need to be in the best physical and mental condition possible, and he needs to have a perfect strategic plan. We do not want to hear excuses when Cotto gets knocked out.
I've a feeling Mayweather's just calm before the storm,he seems to want to make a statement in the ring.My sources tell me he's looking like an animal in the gym

LMAO, pretty much. I was looking at this story asking myself. How is his training paying off??

Is he sparring anyone noteworthy? Anyone close to mimicking Floyd?? How is his training paying off???

What fruit?? Cottos endurance?? Maybe thats what hes referring too.... If thats the case then Cotto will not be as strong and regardless as most dont understand when Floyd states this...

"ITS DIFFERENT UNDER THOSE LIGHTS" The added pressure, the crowd, all of that comes into play and thats why Floyd keeps saying, I have been here before. But they havent, and definitely not with someone like Floyd.

Cotto has yet to experience, getting hit and missing often, only to play into the crowds hand when they get to chanting, getting tagged even moreso...

This fight is gonna be an as$ raping to the third power. Im sure Cottos game and is going to do all the work in the gym but Floyd is just on another level. Hes got everything. Floyd would have to fight the absolute worst fight of his life and he would still win 8 rounds to 4. I think Floyd stops Cotto to the body some where around the 9th 10th round.
