Fans of Boxers make you end up hating the boxers

I mean Man, These pac fans are really making it hard to root for pacquaio, I mean Mayweather makes it hard to root for him just cause his personally life but pacquaio fans have to be the biggest idiots having no life but only to come online to spew their hate. WTF is that about.

Ricky Hatton fans lol they are the worst fans I had the misfortune of coming across over the last 7 years, They actually made me turn from a Hatton ****rider to one of his biggest critics, They are fanatics that knew little about boxing until Hatton was sold to them with the "One of the lad" BS and they lap it up telling me and others who have been following boxing pure BS lol, Am sooo glad 90% of them have now realise the guy is nothing more than a glorified club fighter with a huge fan base which is due to his previous promoter who picked cab drivers and lightweights for him to feed on while also making all kind of excuses by ducking his main domestic rival in Junior Witter like the plaque..

That's a little bit unfair. Hatton was more than a glorified club fighter.

His fans loved him, so that made them overate him and granted a lot of them didn't know too much about boxing. He pulled fans into the sport, they followed him like they'd follow a football team. They were there for the ride.

But I've never heard any Hatton fan claiming that he was better than Duran and that he's the greatest fighter in the history of the sport like you hear from Pacquiao fans.

Hatton's fans were harmless, they had an emotional connection and they felt that has was a great fighter. They felt it. They didn't try to rationalise their belief. It never really went beyond than an emotional response towards a sportsman that they loved.

Manny's fanboys pull out all sorts of nonsense that they're convinced makes rational sense when it's so delusional it becomes irritating to listen to.

I agree with you. Extremist fans are not fans at all. They just follow their idol. And most extremist fans come from sharing the same nationality or ethnicity. I'm boricua and I cant stand when they talk about Cotto beating Floyd or still talking about Tito's gift decision over DLH as a great and convincing win.

dont get e wrong, there are many good posters on here who are fans o cotto's. but the most extreme cotto fan is worse than the most extreme pac or floyd fan for me. and im being serious. the only boxing fans hat bothered me more are tyson fans. smh...

pac fans actually look for floyd videos on youtube and i'm sure they look up every article/thread related to floyd just to say something negative. it's like an obsession to go out of their way to talk **** about him.

i know people have their fighters that they love and dislike, but they're obsession with floyd just takes the cake.

if you pull up two articles: one about pac and one about floyd, it's guaranteed that the floyd article will have a ton more views and comments because of the obsessed pac followers. It's their life goal to follow floyds every move in life to talk **** .... True Story!

Floyds fans have got to be the worse. Probably because they arent satisfied with just kissing Floyds butt, but the hate on Pac is unjustified.

Its OK to say i think Pac is great, but I think Floyd is better. But they have to actively be spiteful to Pac to feel better about Floyd.

Pac fans arent like that. They are happy to boast about what Pac has done and leave it at that as they feel in their hearts what Pac has done far outshines anything Floyd has done or is likely to do.
Thats where Floyd fans are a little bit different, there is a little insecurity there that manifests itself. Floyd fans are definately angrier, while Pac fans seem more light hearted and not so angry towards Floyd as they kind of see him as a bit of a joke to be honest.

Mayweather fans are annoying as well, but I see more knowledgeable Mayweather fans then Pacquiao fans to be honest, at least they can discuss a match and give a LEGIT REASON as to why they think Mayweather would beat Pacquiao and I also notice that many of Mayweather fans are fans of OTHER FIGHTERS AS WELL....NOT JUST MAYWEATHER! Compared to a Pacquiao fan who seems ONLY CARE ABOUT PACQUAIO and most probably couldn't name you 10 Boxers not names Pacquiao and if they do they will list guys that work with Pacquiao and/or Roach lol
