I still think margarito beats Most top guys at 154. He got screwed in the second Cotto fight he was coming on strong. Say what u want about marg cheating, his speed, or whatever else but he's still arguably the toughest, most relentless, and best conditioned fighter of his era. I'm shocked that anyone would think that a bum like kirkland who has proved nothing in the sport and has looked terrible lately would even have a chance against him.

The rd they stopped the fight, Cotto had one of his best rds. Marg came on, but wasn't really doing anything. Not a chance he was going to win.

I would love to see him back a 100% healthy for real. One of my fav fighters. I enjoy each and every single one of his fights. Throw him against Kirkland or someone with a similar style and he will pwn n00bs.

I don't think Marg's face can hold up anymore. His next fight should definitely be against a lighter puncher. 154 is pretty stacked right now. Hard to see how he can win anymore big fights unless he drains himself to 147 again.

I don't like Marg and never have, but I will say that he was definitely screwed over in his fight with Cotto, that stoppage was bogus. Still, I suppose Marg deserved that, but it's not so fun when you fork out 60 bucks to see a fight end like that. It was clearly planned, that they were going to just stop the fight as soon as Margo started to shift gears, because he was bound to get hit in that eye, and Cotto knew that too.
