I think Kirkland would be very easy for Mayweather to sell a fight with.

It would be a good fight, but I'm not sure we'd see it. Though you never know. If Kirkland beats Canelo convincingly, it could happen. If Mayweather-Ortiz could sell 1.25 million PPV's, based off Ortiz being a young and prime fighter with a good back story, coming off an impressive win over Berto......I think Mayweather-Kirkland could sell well with Kirkland being an exciting prime fighter with a good back story, coming off beating the young star Saul Alvarez.

Kirkland would get his shoe boxed off. Not a fight that would really interest me tbh.

Not interested in that fight. But with Kirkland beating Canelo, there will be some kind of public demand for Mayweather-Kirkland. Kirkland will be the new guy that Floyd will be "ducking".

I do't know if we'd see it, but I'm almost certain Floyd is planning on fighting a unification fight with Canelo, if Canelo can get by Kirkland in September. So who knows??? I have no problem with Floyd fighting the Kirkland-Canelo winner in December. Sergio has Chavez/Lee in September and Manny has Rios/JMM in November. Khan isn't an option until he beats a top fighter at WW, so the best there is for December for Floyd is Saul Alvarez.

And if Kirkland beat Alvarez, Floyd may end up fighting Kirkland. I know one thing, if Kirkland can smash Canelo and knock him out, an a very high profile/public fight, people would buy Mayweather-Kirkland at 154. I'm not putting that much stock into his Molina fight. Yes, Carlos was winning, but after the revelation of hearing about Kirkland having a busted shoulder going into the fight, and Molina holding 118 times, and still almost getting taken out in the 10th, Kirkland is still very legit. He lives by the sword and dies by the sword, that's just how it is. And when he's winning, people are really high on him.

I think Canelo-Kirkland is a 50/50 fight. We don't know about Canelo taking shots from Kirkland, and Canelo is there to be hit.....but we know about Kirkland and how he's there to be hit all the time as well. It's a very interesting and very good fight. I'm just wondering how they are going to have it on HBO the same day that Sergio-Chavez is suppose to be on PPV.....

Nah Kirkland is not a big draw and he's not of mexican descent so Floyd would look elsewhere.
