I'll be cool with Brook fighting Zaveck in July, but after that he should come to the US. Don't go the STL by any means, but an Alexander fight at a neutral site is the best option.

for some reason brook doesn't want to travel. they always seem to have a date scheduled in the UK before they search for an opponent. mos

I like Kell Brook, but he's in no position to get Top WW's to fight him in the UK. Alexander, Berto, Ortiz, Jones, are not going to fight him there.

I don't see why they didn't push for an August date against Devon in somewhere like Jersey or Connecticut or something.

like i said the other day, hearn and brook need to forget about the idea of luring any of the top american wws to uk. its not gonna happen. so if he wants a big fight, hes better of not scheduling it for sheffield.

Agreed, Brook needs to prove himself at least against someone in the top 20, like someone like Luis Abregu first before he can start making demands on guys who ARE world level, and have been tested at the world stage. If they'll come to the UK to draw hands with him, that's all well and good, but he can't expect fighters on that level to bow to demands like that.

Brook needs to fight Zaveck and build some type of fan base on this side then go ahead and fight Alexander somewhere neutral like many have said. If he wants to become big and secure some big fights for BIG MONEY he needs to make himself known to the average american boxing fan cause the UK alone isn't gonna do it. Unless he wants to be like Calzaghe who never left the UK to fight (yes I know he came to fight BHop and Jones Jr in the states).
