      Brook should fight Zaveck.
yeah, at this point there should be no more excuses. brook really needs at least to fight someone who has recently fought a top rated US WW...
would not be surprised if they found someone with a softer touch though. maybe the current european champion leonard bundu?

Team Alexander should focus on ( Mayweather,Berto,Ortiz, and Khan ) not some no name fighter that has never fought on HBO,SHO,or ESPN.

It would be an even more ****** move for Brook to fight Alexander in St Louis where he'd need to render him unconscious to even think about winning.

Nothing to see here. They hopefully can negotiate a neutral venue after their next fights..

Who would actually want to show interest in fighting this Alexander dude. He is such a horrible boxer and has a horrible style.

Good fight, but WAY too soon for Brook. He needs to fight someone like Abregu, like a top 20-25 ranked decent boxer to prove his talent as the real deal on a higher level. I'm not completely sold on Brook yet, I feel he has talent, but I just think someone of Alexander's caliber is too late at the moment.

If this fight happens right now, I have Alexander by mid round stoppage. Yea, I said it. While Brook indeed has big talent, I saw him get hit with a couple of clean shots against a complete journeyman, he needs to work on his defense. I just can't imagine Alexander not being able to hit him cleanly on a consistent basis. And given Alexander does have decent power, and Brook's complete lack of experience on the world stage, I would just have to go with Alexander, and I'm not a big fan of Alexander, I actually like Brook more.

There would be no better time for this fight, than now, or at least before the end of the year.

I mean seriously, Alexander hasn't fought a real WW yet, and it seems that Brook hasn't had a huge fight to put him in that position (though his tickets sells for the Hatton fight were great).

For Devon to destroy a flabby and uninterested Maidana, doesn't say much. If they cant reach a deal with Brook by the end of this year, then Devon will end up moving on to fight guys like Berto, and so forth...leaving Brook out of the talks.

Im not sure how much a Brook fight would do for Alexander, but an Alexander fight would do much for Kell. Screw it, Devon should go to the UK and prove himself...that would be a waaaay bigger step than him leaving St. Louis to fight in Vegas or any other state right now.
