Not to mention, defense. Demarco's defense, is below sub par IMO. Lundy's ain't great either, but it's better then Demarco's. Can Demarco get the win? Of course. Do I think he will based on styles, skills, speed, defense etc? No, I don't.

Of course he'll slow down, just like every other fighter does, but that doesn't mean he won't get the win. With Lundy's speed and reflexes I feel in the latter part of the fight he'll be able to derail Demarco's offense long enough to coast, that's just my opinion. I mean the overall skill and speed gap here is rather big, IMO. Anyone can see that who's watched both of them long enough.

Also, Lundy's power is underrated. Yes, he doesn't have a ton of it, but he clearly has very good pop to his shots, and enough power to get a fighters respect, especially from his natural southpaw stance. I mean, David Diaz isn't some elite fighter, but he's a good solid fighter with a very durable chin, and Lundy knocked him COLD, with one, straight left hand. Fighters with quote "no power" don't knock fighters out cold with one shot that have good chins, and have only been stopped twice but very big punchersi n Holt and Pacquiao. But, hey that's just my opinion. You're entitled to yours.
Yup, we don't really know who will win this till they both get in there and slug it out so for now we just use observations and speculations and try to predict a winner. But hey, since Linares lost and Rios most likely will go on to fight Marquez if they both win. DeMarco has no opponent as of right now and WBC said he won't be fighting Thompson so let's do it. Make the fight happen and if they do we can make a bet .

Oh yea, Im not trying to compare Linares and Lundy but remember DeMarco already fought a boxer in Linares. And while he was losing the first half of the fight, he was coming on and having more success during the second half but one can make the argument that the cuts had something to do with it. Who knows.

Agreed. I'm glad you acknowledged the part where I said "Just my opinion" instead how most posters just would of *****ed at me. Lol. I love having a nice, no name calling boxing debate, nothing is better. I hope this fight does happen, because both of them have fan friendly styles, and Lundy's pre fight trash talk is always fun to listen to haha. But yea if the fight happens, we can bet.

I get what you mean, the only difference is, Linares actually was the aggressor in that fight, which personally I think was ****** of him. Lundy would take more of the backfoot approach with Demarco, and shoot a jab IMO.

That's not me bro. Name calling and such just goes to show their level of intelligence and ignorance IMO. When they feel they lost an argument or get called out they resort to all that crap.

Agreed. Also, I see you're a El Chacal fan, I am too. You know back in '09, I brought up Rigondeaux as a fighter to watch out for, and everyone was like, "Who the hell is Rigondeaux"? Haha, Now that he's gotten popular alot of cats ave jumped on the bandwagon, haha. Also, do you know of Luis Ortiz? The 15-0 Cuban heavyweight prospect? That guy is something special IMO.

Yea, when he first started fighting here in the states I was scared to mention his name and look like a fool cause no one knew who he was. No bro, I haven't had a chance to watch him or Mike Perez or Luis Garcia. I can't remember why but I missed both of their US debut bout.

It'd be interesting to see how Lundy's jab worked vs DeMarco. Im sure DeMarco won't be there all night to get tagged by it like Williams did, he was counting ceiling fans all fight long .

LOL he`s delusional. Demarco has fought way better competition than mr. FNF`s.
