Sources out of Vegas are saying it's looking like mid to late 2015 for it's completion. When I hear more, I'll be sure to share. Or you can follow my twitter account for the latest @VWEBBJR. #ShamelessPlug

Bob has been trying to get that stadium built but he doesnt know who to contact. You know there are all of these people going around saying they represent the builders but he doesnt know who to call or who really represents them.

This is the only stadium proposal that is going on in Vegas at the moment, as far as I know. A proposed 50,000-60,000 seat venue near the campus of UNLV.

I suppose if it's ever built it could be a possible choice of venue, but the dirt hasn't moved on it yet lol. The two aren't getting any younger.

The public-private partners behind a proposed on-campus stadium at UNLV say they will need tax money to build it, after all. Last September the Legislature rejected a special tax district to fund the $2 billion stadium, dormitory and retail project.

It has nothing to do with Arum or the fight - and it's still under negotiation. Nobody has bought naming rights yet and they're asking for tax dollars now, which must be approved by voters. As far as I've read, it hasn't even put but on the ballot yet.

Take this down, you just gave Arum a new "idea". His PR people who patrol the net will pass this on to him. Instead of the "temporary" stadium, they will have to wait until this one gets built and this looks like it will take multiple years. A perfect Arumesque excuse as to why Pac-Floyd cant happen until 201x

There's no fight, why would there be a new a stadium? I dislike ol Bob as much as anyone but the idea was to sign the fight and build a temporary stadium to bring in the most fans possible. Key word being "temporary". I sure as hell wouldn't build a temporary stadium for a fight that doesn't exist.

                nahh.

i'm looking forward to mayweather vs martinez after the cotto fight. that's presumably easy to make. martinez is willing to bow down to all of mayweather's demands.
