just look at a floyd mayweather training session and you'll how little roger is involved, really.

floyd's very much self taught at this stage in the game.


still, if mayweather got a trainer of the year i wouldnt scoff at it. the guy knows how to get floyd sharp as hell.

we have never really seen a real training session, believe me... roger is very much involved he just has a fighter who rarely makes mistakes which makes his job easier...

I would like to think so. I mean its hard to get how PBF has won fighter of the year but the guy who trained him doesn't get trainer of the year. Not saying just because somebody wins fighter of the year the trainer should the award for training.

Roach had success with Pacquiao, Khan, Chavez Jr etc, even less heralded winners like Enzo Calzaghe had several fighters as Champions and doing well like Calzaghe, Maccarinelli, Rees, Cleverly all undefeated under him.
