Comments Thread For: Rios: Marquez Beat Pacquiao, I'm Ready To Fight Him

Those polls and surveys served only as a venting system for those who wanted their voice to be heard in the case of their view as Marquez being the victor. Why would a Pac fan or true follower of the sport want to go on an unofficial record and say that yes they felt the Pacquiao win was justified when the win speaks for itself? I highly doubt your statement about the 5 to 1 as being credible too. You can't boldly say thats accurate with no basis for evidence. There is no way you can tell what percentage of the boxing guru's or boxing fans worldwide for that matter feel who won that fight. There's just no way of knowing. That is why you take three highly trained individuals who are knowledgeable and experience enough to take in all aspects of a 12 round boxing match in order to succumb to a winner and a loser. Those 3 judges who saw know Pacquiao was the winner and Marquez was the loser. Anything else would have been incorrect. Thats why they picked three of the best in the sport to do that fight. Any other form of opinion or belief otherwise is just unofficial personal perspective. And thanks goodness fights aren't judged on what fans "believe" are the winners/losers.For every 1 that thinks Pac won there are 5 that think he lost. If you wanna take it to media then every single poll taken has JMM winning by overwhelming numbers. And if Pac is so popular than fanboys should be voting to make this not as high but the public has spoken. There would be no uprising other than die hard Pac fans. Like i said i was there and saw the reaction of Pac fans who also knew he lost. Their faces told the story and some even disgusted as well with the win. Pac had things thrown at him in the ring which shows the disgust that was present with this decision. NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM DID JMM LOSE THIS FIGHT and he didnt win by a thread, he won outright. But its done and in these eyes and the eyes of MANY he was given a gift decision. That Pac star isnt shining as bright cause of this "win"Comment

wanna see this fight
Rios-JMM or Rios-Matthysse would be sick
only serious WW option JMM has is a 4th Pac fight
that works, but aside from that, stay at 135-140
Rios has enough fury to push JMM, like Diaz the 1st time
that fight would be greatComment

Then good thing these judges got the Lara v PWill, Campillo v Cloud, and Cards on JuanMa fight right. I was starting to think boxing is corrupt. Cause he is in the thread title where Rios says he thinks he lost like a majority of fansDon't see how Manny Pacquaio managed to find his way onto this thread. But anywho. Watching live, I thought it was close and wasn't at all surprised or outraged that Pac got the decision, and I was rooting for JMM. After watching it a couple more times, I've consistantly scored it 7-5 JMM. Either way, to say either guy dominated or won going away is ridiculous on both sides of the debate.Comment
