I love it when they bring up compubox or "look at his face". Marquez won that fight and a MAJORITY of REAL BOXING FANS knows this. Anyway i like this fight. Rios is just the most annoying piece of crap in boxing right now for me and i would love to see him get schooled by JMM. Which i think will happen

Good post here. These idiots along with Marquez need to understand that you need to not retreat so much and fight three minutes of every round. That's the difference between him and Manny. Manny knows how to finish! If Marquez had opened up, he would have hit the canvas for the umteenth time. He was also trying to conserve energy down the stretch because he knew he couldn't waste anything. BIG MISTAKE against Manny. The same goes for Mosley. He knew he couldn't contend with the speed and power and that's why he ran from round three on. He would have gotten stopped too.

Rios vs Marquez sounds very interesting, hope it gets made (it will be a real testament to see whether Rios is the real deal or just someone who's hyped up). If Marquez beat him 3 times then why does he have 2 losses on his record? He had a gift draw too if I may add. So sounds like you are the one who needs to accept reality here, end of story.

The first two ok you have an argument (thought good draw and thought JMM won 2nd but close) but the third fight JMM won. I dont even see how you could be real boxing fan and think JMM lost the third.

Marquez deliberately fought them a specific way though. He fought that way, in a more aggressive manner, to get the bigger fights. Just check it out. He stands in the pocket more and trades inside more against those guys than in any other 'big' fights.

He fights the harder guys much smarter. He fights those guys for the fans in bad ass fights and then fights smart, in still great fights, against the best.

I'm still disgusted at the Pac fight. People really don't understand what an achievement Marquez should have right now. He ****ing beat the welterweight champion at the least 8-4 and was utterly robbed. He is the current 147 WW champion of the world.....yet, it will never show up on his record but Pac is the 130 champ that 'beat' Marquez. A great is made greater via nothing more than out of ring politics and greed.

Marquez vs Rios is a great fight, but Marquez should already be the 147 champion, next going up against the undefeated 135 champ moving up to 140 for a mega fight. ****ing Arum deserves to die horribly for ruining a mans legendary legacy.

I agree Marquez beat Pacman. I think he did it convincingly. I wish there was a way to bring that fight on bs & have a vote on compubox itself. I guarantee it was way off. Marquez controlled tempo & distance & landed the cleaner effective punches. I've always said that that is the 1st fight that I've ever seen where the smaller, weaker & slower man won.

However Rios is just too young, has to much chin,stamina & power for a 40 year old Marquez to overcome. And I love Marquez.

There's a whole thread of videos on youtube of rounds 1 through 12 in slowmo. It's worth watching just for the slowmotion voice sounds and the crowd sounds like wild cattle LOL. But after watching the entire fight in slow motion you can see where all the numerous shots/power shots landed on Marquez that are hard to see in real time. It's there my friend.

I don't like this fight because honestly Marquez will lose it. Rios is the best pressure fighter around that weight class. Better than Katsidis & Juan Diaz who gave Marquez trouble.

No way, absolutely no way. And it's ironic a lot of people feel Rios wins vs JMM but I'm just the opposite, I say stoppage in the late rounds for 40th in the win column of KO's for JMM (Possibly 41 if he stomps fedechenko). But there is no way in Hell Marquez won any fight in their trilogy. Too many voices are silent in objection to propaganda stating that Marquez was robbed because Manny ended up getting the MD therefore it's a dead issue.But believe me if Marquez would have won that third fight then you talk about an uprising, fans would have blown the roof off of any form of media when it comes to boxing in objection to Marquez winning. There would have been 10 times the number of people in favor of saying Pac deserved the win if Marquez would have gotten the decision that night and thats an undeniable fact. Decision overturn no question if Marquez would have been given the decision. There's no way to avoid controversy when to giants in the sport fight and one wins by a thread but the cry of injustice would have been louder and more resounding if Marquez would have won. I digress...
