The Ring new P4P Rankings. Mayweather replaces Pacquiao as #1?

I just got my magazine yesterday, the P4P ratings are unchanged, but the year end best fighter poll has Mayweather winning for the first time in three years. Six out of the nine writers polled had him number one, including Gary Andrew Poole (had him and Pacquiao tied at 1), Kevin Iole, Keith Idec, Dan Rafael, Harry Pratt, and Ron Borges.

According to the article this is gonna be on the May issue which hasn't been published yet that's why it said leaked and probably why it hasn't been updated on the website. Again, if its true. If this is true tho, this is gonna make The Ring real bad. Just like the time when they took Huck out of the Cruiserweight ratings when he went up to HW to fight Povetkin just for him to announce right after that he was coming back down to Cruiser so they had to reinsert him in there.

Why not JMM over Donaire? Who has Donaire fought lately while JMM arguably beat Pacquiao again. If you ask me he's still over rated, if anything I would put him #10 and drop Gamboa cause of his issues. And I think #10 is still kinda modest lol.

Mayweather's had only one fight in 22 months, and for beating Victor Ortiz, a guy with a mostly dissapointing career thus far and only one significant win at welter? That's a bit of a joke. Ring really has become corrupted by GBP. I can this as a move to help build the Canelo-Mayweather fight.

A fighter doesn't have to be active at the end of the decade to win the fighter of the decade it can be awarded to anyone that fought in the decade.

Coming off a loss to a fighter moving up two divisions, a fighter who got put on his ass in his previous fight...I can't take any publication serious that still has him at #1.

The Ring list just like any p4p list is just an opinion award. I don't hold The Ring that high in my regard but I'm okay with these rankings except for Bute who hasn't done crap being on it.
