Lewis was fat. He won on a cut caused by legal punches. I had it 5 rounds to 1 for Vitali and thought he looked much stronger when the fight was stopped. I believe Vitali would have won by late round KO if he had not been cut but no one knows for sure. Before the fight he was talking about fighting Roy Jones and Wladimir and after the fight he turns down big money for a rematch and retires so I think he did not want to face Vitali again. Lewis was much older and had earned the right to retire on top. Both are great fighters.

Also Lewis was inactive for a year coming into the Vitali fight & at his age, it was bound to have an effect (despite what he says).

The facts are this though Lewis won. Klit fans can call it lucky but Lewis was a great heavyweight & it sure as **** wasn't a "lucky" punch.

If a inactive, unfit & un-focused Lewis did this to Vitali....

.... what a 100% focused Lewis have done?
rofl at least don't post photoshopped pictures. Vitaly had other side of his face messed up

what hurts Lewis legacy is that he didnt give rematches to opponents he didnt win convincingly, Ray Mercer and Vitali Klitschko, Lewis was lucky to avenge all the blemishes in his record and McCall was still around the contender status for him to get a chance.

George Foreman gave Frazier a rematch when smokin Joe wants it, Tyson fought Ruddock again, Holyfield fought Ruiz to erase any doubts but Lewis??

Lennox used to say he beat Vitali on his worst night, both had few weeks to prepare for each other, then why cant Lewis came in shape and see if he could beat Klitschko with ease back in 2004.

WOW @ the bold....I guess Lewis should've had a sibling with him in the division so he wouldn't have to fight dudes twice and unify ALL the belts ALONE!!

Klitschko was ahead on the cards the same way Zab Judah was ahead on the cards after six rounds against Mayweather.
