why not? when all is said and done, its all about fighting the best. just because 1 of them loses does not mean he cant go on and do very well anyway.

Well they are not at their best, and in 18 months or so they will be much closer to it and it will be a much better fight, rather than maybe one fighter taking advantage of another's inexperience.

Say in 18 months time Quigg has a world title, around about 28 fights on his record.

Frampton could be European champ 20 fight on his record, both much more experienced, bigger names, might I say proven, then we have a much better quality of fight on a much bigger stage.

Say on the other hand Quigg fights Frampton next, beats him, then they will say about Frampton's experience, he was overrated and just well matched.

Ricky being a promoter now is spot on.

On topic, if McGuigan wanted to take a jab and hype a fight he should've had his fighter do it, instead of it being about Frampton v Quigg it's now McGuigan v Hatton.
