He ducked Witter like the plaque period, The fight was there to be made but he saw that the risk is just too much so he made more excuses than Mayweather/Pacquiao put together to duck the fight and instead they brought over dead beats and cab drivers for him to feed on while defending his highly regarded WBU belt, I eat fanatical fans like you who knows nothing about boxing..

Quigg and Frampton are two of the top young super-bantams to come out of the UK recent years.

They are nowhere near to the peak of their powers, so why have this fight now.

First 10 fights are confidence builders, gets some rounds in.

11-20 fights, keep stepping up in level with each fight.

21-30, Look for your world title shot.

These guys need to match carefully to make the best out of their career, in a year or two they can fight on a much bigger stage and make a lot more money.

At this stage of their careers as long as they are stepping up the level of competition with each fight I have no problem who they fight.

both guys are (probably) good enough to bounce back from a defeat and go on to world level.

A fight against each other would do both of them good in getting the experience needed to win a world title, although Quigg in fighting Booth and Munroe (coming up) is getting some quality opponents. Frampton needs to get Kiko or someone of a similar level before he fights Quigg.

Im all for these guys fighting at the end of the year. They can have a rematch for a world title in a year or 2 down the line.

**** waiting around fighting stiffs life that African no hope Carl fought last time padding their records building a fight up. Have it this year.

why not? when all is said and done, its all about fighting the best. just because 1 of them loses does not mean he cant go on and do very well anyway.

I'd prefer if the fight happened about 18 month or so down the line when a world belt is on the line.

DeGale's career has been sidetrack by his defeat to Groves, but that decision could have easily gone to him and Groves's career might not be doing so well.

And that was a poor fight in truth, both of them still very much in the learning process.

As long as the level of competition is getting tougher for them, I don't mind who they fight, and like you said with Quigg that is definitely the case.
