so later, he did accept the testing and the rest is history. it's no longer an issue. now we have floyd coming up with another excuse not to fight.

i don't even know where this arrogance about the split is coming from. pac has beaten pbf in the ppv battle in their last three fights. and doing the math pac murders him when you talk about the number of times they fight every year. pac fights twice a year and the other only once. not to mention pac is the more exciting fighter.

i won't even give that guy 40 split if i were pac. i don't even know why his fans give him that much when he's barely giving back in return. he fights once in a blue moon and fights in a boring extremely defensive fashion.

    i don't get it. i really don't.

Don't leave out manny refused 3 compromise offers. He acted like a spoiled child. WHen floyd does it DONT ***** ABOUT IT!

If you have a bentley and lexus, you drive the lexus just about everyday and the bentley wfor special occassions. Pac is the lexus so he fights 2-3 times per year. Hate the game, not the player. If manny were the bigger draw niether him or bob would only ask for 50/50.

If manny takes the deal in 2009 we are not having a debate.

If there is no other way to make this fight why should it ever have been "off the table" unless to show power and control?? Unless situations had changed..which they had not, the fight was still beiing pursued, ostensibly by both sides although it was later shown by Ross Greenburg of HBO and Keith Kizer of NSAC that this was false.

These two are very powerful witnesses to what actually happened, and no amount of "fancy foorwork" by entrenched partizans will overcome this.

They both haven't done what is necessary to make the fight. Who cares who deserves MORE blame? The bottom line is that they haven't fought and that's an embarrassment to boxing.

Maybe if people wouldn't pay for fights like Pacquiao-Mosley and Mayweather-Ortiz, they'd have more motivation to face each other.

Oh yeah I forgot, Manny is the "people's champion" and Floyd is truly taking the big challenges to enhance his boxing legacy at this point.
        Please post more frequently.

        Thank you.

You and other manny fans would have a better point if floyd made no compromises or only one offer. Manny refused 3 compromise offers so floyd took it off the table. I mean how many more times can manny essentially say "go **** yourself"

IMO, when manny acted like a petulant child no one had a problem with it. When floyd does it, now suddenly he has to do it for the good of the sport and the fans. GTFO!

Manny had the deal he wanted and let it go. If you or I did that, we'd be ass out.

Pacquiao doesn't actually fight 3 times a year. Since he "came to town", as a 122 lb champ, in the past 11 years (inclusive of this year) he's fought 3 times in a year only thrice; in 2003, 2006 and 2008. So instead of an expected 22 fights, he will have had 25. Not really working too hard.

By the way, even fighting only twice a year, he was ranked #5 in last year's list of top earning world athletes. No other boxer was listed. So he must be doing smething right.

I don't even know why I'm answering this, I really couldn't care less.

No shame to lose to a great fighter like Hector Camacho. What was against Leonard was that Camacho was really only a lazy super featherweight, who, by that time, rarely stopped anyone, although Leonard had no business fighting at over 40.

                • Lmao, at people still talking about Leonard-Pryor.

Oh HBO legendary nights myths at work again.

If anyone did the ducking. It was Pryor who ducked Leonard.

This right here. How can anyone take sides when both fighters have done their share of things in not making this fight happen.

I'm done with both fighters at this point. Either fight each other or fight Martinez. Shit or get off the pot.

                    • It'll be interesting to see what Mayweather & Pacquiao do after their respective bouts. I expect Floyd will take a tune-up when he comes out of the bing. And Manny...well, it depends on his promoter, Bob Arum. Either way, they are running out of opponents fast, especially Manny. Floyd at least has Martinez but the chances of that happening are slim.
