I dont think thats right. I think no matter what, when you get life you have to do atleast 24 years. If its without parole then you never get out. Not even 60 years later. If its with the possiblility of parole, then it comes after the 24 years.

It's such a sickening waste of life. What scum, they murder a guy for his watch and ring. That's their contribution to the world. I feel sorry for anyone related to these low lifes who has to bear the shame of knowing them.

I believe that a sentence of "life without parole" means that the prisoner will die behind bars. The added sentence of 10 years may be because some States have variations in their laws which allow life-without-parole prisoners to apply for and get remissions of sentence. (which technically are not called parole) SO it's possible that the extra 10 years is because the state the offence and conviction took place in, is one of those states.

Although I could be wrong, I believe my opinion is the correct one.

In Israel, particularly heinous ********* murderers (like the ones who recently broke into a house and slaughtered the parents and 3 children aged 11, 3 and 3 months) get consecutive life sentences (in this case 5life sentences) with 5-10 years added. The added years are for emphasis.

He got life in prison without parole. The extra 10 year sentence is just symbolical, it has no effect on how much time he will do in prison since he already has life without parole and will therefore die in prison.
