Maybe, but I think that with Nacho he could revive his career. Nacho could turn Linares into a more boxer/mover or counter puncher ... Linares tends to get into brawls and Roach has not improved his defense at all and it's pretty obvious now that his chin is not very good.

Linares is another great offensive fighter who doesn't have any defense in his game. Changing trainers won't do much. He needs those Ariza shakes, makes you take punches like a champ, just ask Khan.

If you have a guy you have stock in and he's coming off of a stoppage loss you don't put him in with a puncher in his next fight. Linares is young with a future ahead of him, he should be treated as such.

And it'd be one thing if GBP just went "he's past prospect stage no cab drivers for tuneups".....but they DID give him a cab driver for a tune up, they just chose one that could punch.
