Definitely agree. Either Thompson was faster than he expected, or he simply abandoned bobbing and weaving/slipping punches. It could be a combination of both. A guy with easily breakable facial tissue NEEDS to be defensively disciplined, and we all know Roach doesn't give a **** about defense. Maybe the Demarco fight took more out of him than I first expected. As soon as I saw Linares was busted open, i said "****!!" cuz I knew being cut that early in a fight with a guy who can punch, it's almost a death-wish.

Last night, I thought it was a bad stoppage, It wasn't until right now that I saw the cut just above the eye, I wish the doc would've cleaned it first, but I saw the butterfly bandages above his eye, that usually means it's big gash. I'm okay with that stoppage.
