Poor stoppage

agreed. bad stoppage. that being said he was getting tagged. got legitimately dropped. would have probably been beat up. did you see his reaction when the ref stopped the fight? linares was A O K with that stoppage, lol. too bad too, because the demarco fight was terrific. his last and only hurrah i guess

he was getting touched up in round one too before he hurt thompson. thompson was missing with the first couple shots but he was throwing threes and fours and those were getting in. he sent linares head around a few times. when a guy is hitting you with an uppercut that you dont see in the first round the fight's probably not going to go your way. especially if you're supposed to be this slick boxer


linares looked way off. legs didnt look good. the confidence wasnt there. and he wasn't even seeing lots of those punches. this isnt brandon rios. this is jorge linares. he's not that type of fighter.

he's all done. he's been knocked the hell out (salgado,) worn down over time in a prolonged beating (demarco, who also ripped his face apart, he took a lot of shots in that fight.) and now he's been beat up by a bum (i dont want to rip on the guy too bad after a solid win, but i watched some tape last night because i had never seen him before, and he's not good. he's an aggressive punching bag.)
