Linares after signing with Golden Boy

    4-3(2ko's) all 3 losses by Ko's.
That's because his opposition got better after he signed with GBP. I'd rather see a guy test himself and lose than fight bums and dominate.

Has it? Outside of Demarco his competition is not improved.

Salgado nor Thompson are improved opposition compared to Diaz and Larios.

And, TBH not sure if Demarco is a better opposition than Diaz at that time.

I know what you're trying to say. The big myth is that Golden Boy test their fighters not all that true. They do, do it when it's an in-house fights. But, outside of that. It's a lot of mismatches and cash outs.

BTW, neither Larios or Diaz are bums. Those were actual good test for Linares at that time.

Demarco was a huge step up. Larios was a decent test but he was way past his prime.

I don't know about that, Moreno signed with GBP and then they matched him with Darchinyan, a very dangerous fighter. Mares is another GBP fighter who got matched with the big boys early in his career.

Again not sure if Demarco was a "HUGE" step up to that of Gameil Diaz. Dias was in a roll going into the Linares fight.

Vic as much as I liked that fight never worried me in the Moreno fight. That was a mismatch from the go. That was my opinion from when I read that fight was made. There wasn't anything dangerous about it.

What he needs it some time for face to heal, at anypoint any fighter is just one fight away from to do something big, most fighters dnt bounce back from losses like this but i think there is enough talent in linares to when an alphabet title.

i dont know about his opponent tonight being a bum but the dude has 18 kos out of 20 fight that explains how much power that dude has

i think linares needs to stay away from brawlers with power lol
i want him to fight tough opponents but its just messes him up with cuts
i dont know where he should go from now
i think they will just give him soft opponents from now on
so for me this is the end of my hopes for him
sorry dude but thanks for the nice action pack fights

i was laughing when the doctor showed him the card then waved it on his face
like the doctor was like hahah ur screwed now LMAO

if he wants to keep going

i think he should change trainer
he learned what he needed from roach already
time for him to learn something new that he needs
now he needs a trainer that can enhance his outside game
improve his jabs & foot and head movements to stay away from getting hit and gets cuts

perfect trainer for him is steward?

I think he needs surgery to reduce the chances of cuts. Like the one Hatton got, they removed some cartilage around his eye sockets.

Maybe so, i dnt know much about thompson but he didnt seem much like a hard puncher to cause cuts like this, linares from round one had swelling and one flurry buy thompson and that cut started bleeding, and for the record i seen thompson attempt to headbutt but didnt look like it connected, dam i shouldve dvr the fight.
