I honestly think the combination of the Ward winning somewhat of a new tournament format where he was contracted to face some of the best in his division back to back, and the fact he's American - leave him being particularly over rated.

He's good, the best at SMW no doubt, but only has been so for a year or so.

There's been agreed number ones at a weight for years and they've not received half the accolades.

He needs to beat a Dawson, Hopkins, Pascal, or even Bute to start living up to some of them.

Being great is not only beating guys for one year, but it takes an entire career to do it. Ward is skilled and has some great wins because of the Super 6, but he still has a long way to go to be considered greater than Morales.
