6:10 there is another 6 punch combination..he throws three, then Omar goes to the body, and Floyd makes him pay with two to the head, omar backs off, then Floyd offensively throws a jab...this kid is something special

Corrales and Gatti were sluggers that didn't mind to get hit, Cotto is no slugger.

Mayweather had pillow gloves when fighting De La Hoya. The 10oz Heavyweight gloves.

I think people are expecting a little too much from Floyd at this late stage in his career. To say that Floyd would put a Gatti type performance on May 5th is just absurd.

I have got Floyd winning comfortably but for some strange reason Cotto is being severely underrated.
wrong worng and wrong, first of all Dirrel is from Flint, Michigan... not Grand Rapides idiot. no he didn't know Floyd personally, they are not even in the same age group. mark my words, Cotto wil drop Floyd for the second time in his career. i can see Cotto rough housing Mayweather like a child. he will walk through Floyd's punches .Cotto's extra weight will be a surprising factor in this fight.

Dirrell has a picture on his twitter, of when he was a kid, and he was hugging Floyd, and Floyd was either wearing sparring gear, or headgear from the olympics...I dont know if they come from the same town or not, but I do know that Andre knew Floyd most of all his life

Dirrell, what's up hommie? Ironic how Dr. Shaw High picked your career apart just like how you predict Floyd will pick Cotto apart isn't it?

Cotto is faster than people give him credit for, especially his handspeed, its his defense and defensive relexes that aren't as quick.

If Cotto tried to freestyle his gameplan against Mayweather, he'd get picked apart, but Diaz seems the type that already has a solid gameplan on deck and it can make all the difference. Cotto has some weaknesses (telegraphing his attack by taking that huge falling step for 1) that will be tough to disguise, but it can be disguised and Cotto seems as if he's the type of fighter that will stick to a gameplan.

A gameplan (and a fighter that can implement it) can really make all the difference.
