When did he lose to Madaina a million years ago?..LMAO...He got knocked down by Berto, but Berto is an EXPLOSIVE puncher...Ortiz was an espn prospect with a GREAT olympic background, but once he lost to Madaina everyone acted like he was a bum who had no skills...the kid has a glass jaw at junior welterweight, and he walks around at 164lbs...his best weight class will probably be junior middle weight, or middleweight, but right now, welterweight will do!

WarMayweather!!

LMAO what sparring session were you watching? He never threw more than a 3 punch Combo , and looked slow. Also Omar Henry is no Cotto, he doesnt have am 8th of the experience Cotto has.

He's just overstating his opinion because he's at Floyd's gym and he's all hyped up on Floyd. Can't blame him, but no this fight is not going to look like Mayweather vs. Gatti. That was a massacre, this will be a fight. I still have Floyd winning, and possible stoppage. But Cotto gets respect, he's no slouch and it will take a lot for Floyd to get him out of there. I would love to see Floyd have to dig in and really fight, I have high hopes this could be that kind of fight.

Mayweather has no power at 154. Old out of prime De La Hoya walked away with a clean face after thier fight and still got a split decision. People act like Cotto wouldn't have knocked out Gotti just as bad as Floyd did.

Floyd's power is underrated, he can cut people up and overwhelm through accumulation. I still think a stoppage is feasible at 154. Accuracy can often be more meaningful than power.

Better quit that lyin 2:40, ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE8OlcBDIr4 )he lets off a 7 punch combo(could have called it 9), but the longer it goes on, the more he starts opening up...Floyd is so fast, he throws punches EVERY TIME he sees the oppurtunity...that could mean 8 punches, 9 punches...he is on a freaking roll...See Pac throws flurries...A combination has 2 seconds or less in between each punch, so he might go 1, 2...3,4,5,6,...7,8....Its all impulsive, cuz he's so fast, that he's just doing it spontaniously...his reflexes are sharp as HELLL...Like I said before, compare THIS Mayweather, to the slow Mayweather who fought Ortiz, who only threw right hands, who had slow telagraphable punches...Floyd is fighting the same way he fought when he fought Marquez, except more punches, more pressure, and the same power he had when he fought Ortiz...all of these combined, he stops EVERYONE...I dont see ANYONE lasting 12 rounds with Floyd...he has finally put all the missing pieces to his style, and now he is the perfect fighting machine...You guys HATE it Man...I have to be honest, I have NEVER seen a fighter counter a six punch combination without getting hit, and throws fast laser accurate punches, in sharp spurts...Its AMAZING how much he has improved overnight...yall got me wanting to watch it again!!

True, but Cotto's punches are alot more accurate and harder than De La Hoyas at that stage of his career

Mayweather had just jumped to 154 at that time, and now he has gotten bigger..also he's a student of the game, he improves each and every fight, and has been working on his power ever since the Mosley fight...not only that, but Ortiz weighed 164lbs, and Floyd killed him with one punch...I like where Floyd's power is today!...I really do

lol the hate for Dirrell is hilarious. All he did was give his opinion on a question he was asked about what he thinks will happen in the fight and you guys attack. We give our opinions on fights every day. I have a question, have you guys ever seen Mayweather beat the hell out of someone? Have you ever seen Cotto get the hell beat out him? If you answer yes to both why are you acting like what Dirrell said is something inconceivable?

This fight is more difficult than you think Cotto is about 10 times better than Gatti was, Cotto's past his prime but Gatti was already a has been when he fought Floyd. I also see where Ortiz had his moments with Mayweather and he's no where near Cotto's level
