Like many have already stated, THIS.

People are getting confused by imagining themselves in a fight against either men. That's the wrong test for this.

People should imagine this being tested like in those sports science shows. Both fighters would be asked to punch a bag or a dummy that will calculate the power each of them will generate.

It's not a knock on Floyd to say that Marg hits harder because obviously just being able to hit harder doesn't translate to an automatic win at the highest level of the sport.

Speed doesn't necessarily equate to power punching, ask Malignaggi. Floyd can daze and possibly KO opponents by catching opponents with something they didn't see coming with his pinpoint accuracy. IMO Floyd's "power" comes from accuracy, timing, and proper leverage.

From what I've read in the past, heavy handed power deals more w/ the not so exact science of fist and wrist size, coupled with a person's bone density. There was an article that someone showed here a long time ago talking about the size of the fists and wrists of some of the harder punches throughout Boxing's history.
