It is hard to pick without being biased especially if you are latino. They all have had ups and downs and wonderfull careers. Titles don't matter for me it is the level of opposition and they all fought great opposition. For me my top 3 in no order are Duran, Chavez and Arguello.Comment

Are Philipinos considered Hispanic? I know they were a Spanish Colony, what criteria would define Manny as Hispanic?
Does he even speak Spanish?
Do they relate in any way to Spanish Culture as a whole, or trace elements of it like Latin America?
Just wondering...Comment

They are considered asian. I dont care what any pac fan says he is not better than the guys on the list in the first post.Comment

What the f**k???? Pacquiao is asian and is from the Philippines.....The reason some of the people from the Philippines have Spanish names, like Padilla for instance, is because it was a Spanish Colony, that's also why there's a ton of Catholics there. Pacquiao is not Latino/Hispanic.........Comment

this question is asking posters opinion. Since none of us are boxing historians, all of our answers can be debated.
There are dozens of Pro hispanic fighters that have contributed to the sport in their own way. I do not think you can credit 1 single "hispanic" as being the "greatest"... It is kind of like asking what american car was the best ever... it is a pretty vague question.Comment

They do have elements of Spanish culture, they have Spanish words in their languages and a few speak Spanish as a first language.
It is estimated that as much as 33 million Filipinos have Spanish DNA in them.Comment
