Their was no ass whooping from either fighter period...
I don't include hugging and pushing someone as whooping them, infact I regard that as cheating breaking the rules.

        Kirkland can't be serious!

No question Molina was way up on the cards (despite the one judge), but it is a good chance that Kirkland would be more prepared for the clinches in a rematch, Molina did not fight like that in any of his past fights so I can understand how Kirkland wasn't prepared for all those Clinches, but I don't hate Molina for it, I still think it was the right strategy for a Powerful Fighter like Kirkland but in a rematch I think you would probably see Kirkland PUSH BACK and I think the next Ref will probably warn Molina more in a rematch

He was getting his ass handed to him, yet clinchers like Molina should have no place in boxing. Unless you are hurt you shouldn't be allowed to clinch. HBO, Showtime, and ESPN should boycott Molina and never televise one of his fights.

And Molina would adjust, whereas the only thing Kirkland can really do different is fight harder, which isn't much of a strategy.

As bad to watch as the first time was, I almost hope this rematch happens because I bet a lot of people would delude themselves into thinking Kirkland would somehow do far better.

Yea they're gonna boycott him alright but not for clinching but cause he's ruining all of their fighters' spotlight .

I don't disagree, I think if Molina fights like he did against Lara and Cintron, he still wins by UD...BUT I think if he comes back with the same strategy of clinching, I think Kirkland would do a better job against it

however...yes Kirkland still can be out-boxed and out-boxed pretty easily IMO, so the clinches from Molina really wasn't needed anyway, if anything he was doing Kirkland a favor by slowing the action down with the Clinches

Can Kirkland walk the streets at night.

Please tell Kirkland not to wear a hoodie and walk the streets at night.

James won't take the rematch and his managment wont let him. They will put him in with someone who will make more of an action packed fight and someone that wont make him look like they coud make him do whatever they want.
