LMAO he flat out admitted it AGAIN!! He is not taking risks, he is not fighting Pacquiao. What a fraud chicken coward. Then again that's the approach he has taken through his entire career ducking and ducking.
I saw this one coming since the Mayweather-Cotto fight was official. If Floyd beats Cotto, he may stay at 154 until Pacquiao retires next year. Floyd wants to stay an extra year after Pacquiao to help catch up on his "vacation" time when he ducked massive paydays (e.g., prime Cotto and Margarito, peak Pacquiao).
Super dumb post!!! So Floyd is avoiding Pac but facing bigger, more dangerous competition out of his weight class? He will fight Martinez but he's afraid of Pac who loss to JMM, won't even fight Cotto at his best weight and is extremely afraid of Martinez? Come on dude. The best thing for boxing right now is Bradley beating Pac then Arum retiring with Pac.
you're acting like all Pac's fighting is the cream of the crop. Clottey, Margarito, and obviously washed up Mosley. Were these strong champions that Pac was fighting??? No. He fought a Clottey, Marquez, now Bradley.
His last six fights... not all were strong champions... is he a b*tch then??? No
If they fight top guys all the time and go through wars, the body will break down a lot faster. You know every top guy has a gimme fight every so often.
Actually De La Hoya, Mosley, and Marquez were the current linear champions at Junior middelweight, welterweight, and lightweight
Hatton was the reigning junior welterweight champion when he faced Floyd.
Judah was the IBF champion when he faced Floyd
Baldomir was the linear welterweight champion when he faced Floyd
The only true tune up Floyd has had was Sharmba Mitchell
Marquez was a lightweight looking to make history vs Floyd, u can not discount his side of the story and simply call it a tune up fight for Mayweather.
what was clottey (who), margarito (yes the one who came off suspension and fought a no named guy then gets a title fight with pac), cotto, shane, and de la hoyas rank when pac fought them....
Floyd is really going to cherry pick from this point. He is truly not going to fight Pac unless he shows serious signs of slowing down. He will fight at his walk around weight, so that he will be faster in the late rounds when the weight comes off during the fight to give him an advantage.

So we're expecting Floyd to fight Martinez next? That's good enough for me. Looking forward to it.
It's funny how all these fkn Pac idiots find any little thing to bash on Floyd.
Guys ever heard of tune up or stay busy fights???
Oh, i forgot, every fighter fights champions EVERY TIME THEY STEP IN THE RING.
I know Pac does right?... he's never fought a tune up or stay busy fight. My bad, i guess i don't know **** about boxing and all these pac+ard$ know everything about it right???
I think Floyd wants to pick and choose who he loses to..He said he rather lose to winky, than lose to Margarito...Margarito is a horrible fighter who will beat him with pressure?..Thats how the greatest fighter will lose?..He recently said he wanted to lose to Broner, or Gamboa....Floyd wants to lose to a fighter like Martinez, or Broner...he likes their slick defensive styles...Floyd knows that the guys he fights are good enough to pull it off, but he has NO respect for Pac....Floyd wanted to fight Ortiz, because when they first met, Ortiz said some kind words to him, and Floyd never forgot it...but I think the only reason Floyd will fight Pac, is because he knows he has no choice...as far as Martinez, Floyd really likes his style, and he just wants to be in the ring with someone with that style....I find Mayweather mysterious, but I accept him for who he is

People can't read between the lines? Obviously, Floyd is looking to cash out after a few big fights, that's all. Basically, he sees himself beating Martinez and/or Pac, and wants to basically have a type of "victory" lap and enjoy the top spot for a few fights after. He's already considered the best anyway, but it would just eat away at all the haters that there's no one left.
But alas, even as a Pac fan...I don't see where other Pac fans come up with an imaginary precedent of Pac beating a similar fighter as Floyd and thus see him as a favorite? I've heard of liking fighters, but I've never heard of baseless obsessions over an as of yet, arguably untested welter (Yeah, I said it) who's only meaningful fight has been a Cotto..yeah, the same Cotto Floyd is now fighting at a higher weight that Pac's team thinks he's too strong in and thus, must come down if he wants Pac. Good enough for Pac, I'm sure a heavier Cotto should be more than good enough for Floyd, right?
It's not just about the name on the resume, it's about when you fought that name, on your resume. This isn't 20 years after their careers have ended and we don't know any better. We ALL know Clottey wasn't exactly coming off some stellar performance. Or Cotto. Or Shane. Or Margo. Does Juanma and his novela like performance with Licar Ramos count? People don't like to mention that our man Pac likes to fight people coming off recent losses. Even Morales (who many thought was already questionable due to wars with other fighters), Pac only fought him after losses. I could be wrong, but if i recall, Pac and Morales didn't fight immediately, Morales fought someone and lost, then fought Pac again.
What about the second Barrera fight. Didn't old ass Barrera come off a loss from Marquez? How did he earn a shot at Pac?
Timing is everything. Floyd has fought the same questionable fights, but he has fought them at better times in their career, coming off signature wins usually. It baffles me as to how Pac somehow has a better resume than Floyd in people's eyes. If it was a real resume, under the Juanma fights, the description and duties would read "Talk to my promoter".
So before you think I'm just Pac bashing, worry not. It's BECAUSE I'm his fan (as a fighter) that I can criticize him and still be perfectly ok with that. Same thing with Floyd. I talk crap about him all the time. But Pac, as a measuring stick...he just doesn't measure up quite as well in the grand scheme of things. 20, 30 years from now when people don't know any better? If they don't fight? Feel free to plead your case. But remember, a lot of guys Floyd fought were perceived as strong challenger until they were beaten.
