    and

you are wrong about "already training" in that you make it out as something that was beneficial for Mosley .... Two consecutive training camps on a older Mosley may have taken out a lot out of him..... can't be good for that old body ..... even Floyd's team says that about Floyd's training camps ... in that it takes a lot out of Floyd.
Mayweather had less fights in two years than Mosley did. Hell he had like 1 fight in almost 3 years. Yet Mosley was the inactive one?

Not true since Marquez was LW champ as already pointed out. if you want to hate on Manny you can bring up how long it has been since he has fought a current champ in the division they are fighting in without a catch weight. Still going since Bradley is champ @ 140.

      (Psst, it was Hatton)

Did you see Ortiz's interviews? Were they interviews about a guy who has steam roled through his fights? NO! He kept defending his loss to Maidana and that he has no heart, his draw to Peterson .... and that he was knocked down twice in his previous fight to Berto .....

Ortiz has struggled thru it .... then he gets Floyd .....

If Ortiz had fought several fights at 147 and kept on impressing then OK .... but not the Ortiz that we saw .... Floyd's laughing at the pick (Ortiz) as it just looked good on paper.

Again, go on a streak then take on Floyd again and you would see a better Ortiz ... especially since they already saw what they can do to Floyd and want they need to improve on.

Why is this a problem??? When pac was collecting belts y'all were.complaining pac hadnt defended his belt since 122 so therefore he wasn't a real champ til he defended successfully. Now he makes a few defenses and it becomes cherrypicking because he hadnt fought a current champ???

How long did bernard hopkins go without fighting a champ during his middleweight reign??? I suppose he was cherrypicking too??

Ortiz just smacked Berto all over the place. Ortiz is not a quitter at 147. If he was he would have quit in the Berto fight.

Hope you are not serious? It's a combination of things .... inactivity, OLD and 2 consecutive training camps and style differences compared to his fight against the brickless Margarito.

Pac hasn't fought a legitimate champion in their weight since Hatton. It may upset you, but it's FACT.

come on man what else can you call fighting Margarito @ 150 or Mosley after Mora? or JMM @ 144?
I suppose technically he is defending his belt but its against fighters that are not ranked

Mosley said camp was fine. So why are you making excuses for him? Were you there with him?

They are what they are. Title defenses. They werent the most well deserved shots but there have been much more bewildering examples of fighters getting title shots for no apparent reason.

Bottom line is just haters finding an excuse to hate pac. If not fighting a current champ for 3 years is cherrypicking to you then what do you call hopkins going almost 8 years without fighting a champ???
